If you hate your job, if you are dissatisfied with your chosen career path or if you are disenchanted with your business, perhaps now is the time to either take action and choose to do something different (something that you are passionate about), OR simply accept your reality and focus on building healthy strategies that will enable you thrive better and/or change your approach to work.

We spend most of our living years working, so it makes sense that we find great value and some joy in what you do!” ~Excerpt from the upcoming book: ‘UN-Locking Your HeArt of Leadership.’~

Reflections by Juno.

ConcentrateThis is week 4! It’s hard to believe that we’re already on last lap of our 30-day challenge: Take ACTION and Transform Your Life!

For WWN premium members who signed up for the challenge and also participate in the weekly live coaching calls/interactive webinars, we say a huge congratulations!

Thank you for your commitment, for completing the assigned tasks and for honouring the process. Remember, compliance is key. As long as you’re taking action, you will see your results.

Whatever manifests in your physical universe is your evidence procedure. The action steps taken now, will begin to yield results 90 days from now. Be consistent, build up new neurology. This leads to new habits and soon they become part of your lifestyle.

Based on the feedback from all of you, in this final week the focus will be more on career and business building strategies. We’ll talk about the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and share ideas on what’s working for different people.

Our next conference call is on Friday, December 6, 2013. The webinar details and conference call-in numbers will be communicated by email. If you are interested in joining us and becoming a WWN member, please send an email to info@wholewomannetwork.com.

Over the next few days, I’ll share strategies and marketing tips on these topics:

i. How to increase your prospect list and sell more products using social media (in particular using blogs and Facebook),

ii. Keys to networking success in a value-based economy,

iii. Are you really running a ‘business’ or having fun with your hobby?

iv. How to add 100 ‘hot’ prospects to your database,

v. Communicating with heart and power in a value-based, empathy-driven economy,

vi. Your success is in the follow-up!

vii. Do you have a signature style in your life and business?

Some simple and effective tips to kick-start your week:

TIP #1:  Focus more on being ‘CARING’ and less on playing ‘NICE’. Caring means serving with integrity and sharing your resources (time, money, energy), from an authentic place. It means saying ‘NO’ or ‘YES’ from a place of respect and real commitment. Playing nice means you’re trying too hard to be a people-pleaser, saying ‘yes’ to everything, unable to keep your commitments and getting stressed out in the process. Blessed

TIP #2:  Spend 15 minutes at the beginning of the day to set your intentions for the day and plan your day. Then spend another 15 minutes at the end of each day to reflect on what was Positive, Interesting, Negative (P.I.N), then note 3 key things you learned for the day, make sure you apply them the next day.

TIP #3: Have a database of clients and prospects. Have a system for contacting them periodically. Follow the 80/20 rule in following up with them; 80% of the time, offer complimentary valuable information and  also survey them to know what’s important to them (their pain points/needs). Then 20% of the time, provide products and services to address their pain or solve their needs (Refer them to the right people if you do not have solutions for them).
do it wellTIP #4: Your success is in your follow-up! Every business card you’ve ever collected at networking events should be entered into your database. Sit down for coffee, and connect meaningfully with people. Sales is service. Offer your services/products with integrity, passion and respect for the other person’s model of the world. It’s not about you! It’s all about your prospect and clients. So learn to listen more and talk less!

TIP #5: Whenever you RSVP for an event, show up! If you’re unable to show up, notify the host and apologize, if possible, make it up by attending a subsequent event.
Consistency and Reliability are huge in today’s business world. Be who you say you are and do what you say you’ll do. Lead yourself to effortless success. Sow the right seeds, the rewards will come.

TIP #6: Treat every new client/customer as if they were your first and treat all existing ones as if they were about to leave you. Establish initial rapport, build trust and connection, but also take the time to nurture and sustain the relationships. Always give a ‘red-carpet’ service experience. Treat people with respect, make everyone feel special. They’ll value and pay for the experience. Some people
TIP #7:  Reverse-engineer your week. Determine at least 3 important goals you wish to have achieved by the end of the week, then in reverse order, fill in the details and create a realistic, yet challenging plan to get your desired outcome(s).
Create an activity map and time-block each activity. Take focused, disciplined and consistent steps and follow your schedule. Life happens, accept it! Adjust accordingly when you go off track. Celebrate your successes and failures. View your ‘failure’ as feedback. The most important thing is to take action in the direction of your goals.
It’s your life, own it and enjoy the journey!
