Sometimes women are so busy taking care of everyone else, they often forget to take care of and celebrate themselves.
Everyday, in cities, towns, villages across Africa and in the diaspora, I get the privilege to meet so many remarkable women doing incredible things, against all odds, for their families, companies, communities and society at large…
This post is simply to celebrate and thank you all, for who you are and all you do. Africa is a better continent because of your beautiful energy and efforts.
Celebrating YOU, an Empowered, Fabulous, Whole Woman who is:
Awakened. Aware. Calm. Wise. Unique. Enough. Complete. Strong even in her weakness. Extraordinary in her ordinary-ness.
Compassionate. purposeful. Forgiving. At Peace. Content. Focused. Selfless. Self-full; gets her sustenance from her creator’s divine cup. Simply is.
Does not have to prove a thing. Loving. Brave. Original. Authentic. Heart of Gold. Clear on her boundaries. More Caring than ‘nice’.
Not a people-pleaser; she focuses on living her inner truth. Knows when to Fight for love. Knows when to Walk Away. Not held down by dogma. Always open to learning. Shines her Light.
Lets go but she’s not a fool. Will fight for her dreams. Takes ACTION. Inspires. Builds up. Connects. Takes care of herself and her tribe of loved ones. Is a human magnet for miracles. Is not attached to being ‘right’. Respectful of herself and others. Commands the room by raising the vibration. Regal. Finds, Embraces and Uses her Voice.
Doesn’t have to win every argument. Focused on the magic of right NOW. Bendable not breakable. Loves again with openness even after a heartbreak. Understands the power of sacred silence. Believes in the beauty and power of Sisterhood. Celebrate others. Learns from everyone. Is Resilient. Respects other people’s Spaces. Doesn’t Trespass.
Vulnerable and yet indomitable. Shines her light. Accepts her awesomeness and her crap. Doesn’t judge others. Chooses LOVE always. Will be there for her community. Dreams Big. Has a vision for her life. Has Faith. is Hopeful. Separates people from their behaviour. Gets heartbroken and (after all the drama and chaos), finds hidden beauty of acceptance, forgiveness and love, in the pieces of her now expanded heart. Has a limitless capacity to LOVE.
Asks for help when she needs it. Is tough like a tigress when her circle is violated, Believes in limitless possibilities. Feels beautiful no matter her size, colour, height….Owns and celebrates her flaws. Takes Responsibility. Is never too proud to apologize. Breaks the rules. Co-creates her inner and outer worlds. Knows how to walk a stiletto 🙂
Understands the power of heartfelt Meditation and Prayer. knows the distinction between true Worship and an act of ‘Eye-Service.’ Walks her Talk. Falls each day and Rises again. Loyal. Fun. Sees the Creator in Everyone. Kind to Herself and Others. Praises in public and corrects in Private. Sees every mistake as feedback; an opportunity to do better.
Throws a damn good pity party (very short durations), Embraces her Sensuality, Feminity, Humanity and Divinity. Knows she’s Worthy. Never plays the victim (okay, maybe sometimes, lol). Claims and lives her fundamental Woman right to be loved, cherished, respected, honoured, because she knows she’s the daughter of a KING, Co-creates her divine Destiny with God…..
To all the millions of empowered, fabulous and whole women out there, simply BE, don’t ‘try’ to be a man or worse still ‘better’ than a man. We’re not in competition. WoMan: Our roles are integrated, collaborative, evolving, complementary to one another. There’s no fight. No struggle. OWN your own essence and stand in your power.
Enjoy being woman, – graceful, stylish, strong, gentle, brave, weak, kind, tough, lace it all with LOVE…As the situation demands, be flexible, be discerning. Don’t copy others blindly. BE YOUnique. Apply wisdom. Know that you’re ENOUGH. You are whole and complete.
There’s no fight, no struggle, no war. Resist the urge to ‘fight against’ rather ‘Stand up FOR’….. Love and respect yourselves and your loved ones. Sometimes, in simply surrendering, you reclaim your power. ❤ – Cyber-hugs

“Being a fabulous woman is a beautiful thing. When we love we love, a fabulous woman protects her man even when she is still trying to wrap her brain around how his mind works. She respects him even when she is mad at him. We have no time for unproductive bitterness and pulling other women down.
We choose to inspire, motivate and build others rather. We work hard, play hard and pray hard. We are a little cuckoo sometimes too. A little stupid, wise, creative, funny, fun, honest, loyal, scary, calm, irate, radical, intimidating and sweet too. We wear our hearts on our sleeves and we fight for what we believe in.
When we love…we truly love, we believe in and know the value of partnerships, we cry when we are hurt, we forgive, we learn, we teach, we protect, we provide, we are fragile, we are strong, we build and not destroy, we support, we bear and raise kids, we have dreams.
A fabulous woman chooses her battles well in life and will fight tooth and nail to protect what’s hers. She respects herself, her family, her man, her kids and her environment as a whole. The fabulous woman knows her place and knows that she is more effective when she leads as a woman not as a male wannabee.
To all the fabulous women out there. Let’s keep this dignity and grace thing going Bo Mami. Mcwaaaaaaaw.” ~MsCleo Cleopatra
