Session Description: Effectiveness, concentration, productivity – these are the outcomes that we hope will follow naturally from our mind, a psychological organization of functions about which we know much less than we think. In this 1-hour talk Maja will address; structure, functions, and processes of the mind will be discussed to illuminate how to best collaborate with it. Following Maja’s session there will be cocktails and networking.
Biography: Maja Djikic, Ph. D. is an Associate Professor and the Director of Self-Development Laboratory at Rotman School of Management. She is a psychologist specializing in the field of personality development. She has been a post-doctoral fellow with Desautels Centre for Integrative Thinking (Rotman School of Management) and Psychology Department at Harvard University. She has published more than 25 articles and book chapters in the area of personality development. Her research has been published in Journal of Research in Personality, Psychological Science, Creativity Research Journal, New Ideas in Psychology, Journal of Adult Development, and many others.
