DAY 9: Take ACTION and Transform Your Life!

createQuestions of the day: Do you often tell stories without solutions, about yourself and others? Are you always in the ‘victim’ mode. Or do you choose to tell empowering stories? Your story is your story. However, HOW you tell your story is very important.

Do you define or describe yourself interns of your limitations, hurts, pains, challenges instead of seeing yourself in terms of your triumphs, possibilities and potentials?  In other words, are you self-flagellating in the ‘WOE ME’ quadrant of life or  celebrating in the ‘WOW ME’ quadrant?

At the core of our transformational Training, Leadership and Coaching programs at Whole Woman Network, are principles of Self-Love, Self-Accountability and Self-Leadership. You have the unique gift and ability to co-create and design your destiny with God. Own it!

WWN Reflection DAY 9: Telling Empowering Stories About Yourself & Others.

This weeks’s focus is on HOW YOU TELL YOUR STORY. And how you tell your story is dependent on how you ‘see’ yourself. Through which lens do you see yourself? Take a moment to ponder if you ‘see’ yourself at the ‘WOE ME’ side of life’s equation or at the ‘WOW ME’ axis.see you

In the ‘WOW ME’ quadrant, you live your life completely, powerfully, passionately and purposefully. You take responsibility for everything in your life because you accept that unconscious and conscious choices, actions/in-actions, all combine to create everything in your physical reality.

You have the courage to lead yourself. You are open to different options and are willing to resource externally and ask for help. You understand the inter-connectivity and inter-dependence of people, things and events. You have a keen sense of awareness of life as being synchronistic and filled with patterns.

nothing will workIt is a zone of personal awareness and integrity with your emotions. You feel all your emotions and express them in a healthy ways.

You acknowledge that even though there may be things you cannot change, you have the POWER to respond to them however you choose,  especially in such as way that you are not dis-empowered. You are constantly learning and growing. You embrace change and know that life doesn’t just happen to you. In other words, you do not simply go with the flow. You choose to co-create your own unique flow!

In the ‘WOW ME’ quadrant, you understand that you are responsibly for your choices and attitude! You learn to accept what you cannot change and adapt to things as they unfold. You understand the power of behavioural flexibility. Your life is not exempt from challenges and storms, the difference is that you learn to elegantly ride the waves of life.

You define ‘problems’ in terms of their inherent opportunities, solutions and learnings. You gravitate towards people from whom you can learn, you’re constantly modelling excellence in others and you refrain from blaming, judging, castigating and condemning. Your attitude always resets or defaults to ‘What is the learning here?’, ‘What has this got to do with me?’, ‘Does this detract or distract from my purpose and path?’ This is clearly for people with a winning attitude.

At the ‘WOW ME’ axis of life, you are always seeking solutions, looking at different approaches/perspectives and learning from both your mistakes and successes. It is focused on finding synergy, empathy and acceptance rather than on being judgmental or egoic.

The ‘WOE ME’ quadrant is the zone of excuses and blames. There is always a convenient reason why everything or everyone else is at fault. This is the ‘victim zone’. You let life happen to you and then you react to events unfolding. There is little or no sense of personal accountability, self-responsibility or self-leadership. There is a lack of awareness that making excuses will NEVER provide solutions rather it creates a loop that keeps you from moving forward. The ‘ego’ drives your actions and decisions. And you feel powerless and stuck! You repress negative emotions and in a bid to block them, your body often becomes stressed. negative thinking

One of the key concepts for getting out of the ‘WOE ME’ quadrant is the awareness and acceptance that when you blame someone else for the situations in YOUR life, you are basically giving away your power. Taking responsibility gives you control and allows the unconscious to start seeking solutions and create new neurological pathways of options.

Remember, the purpose for ALL experiences (good and bad) is to EMPOWER you to act from a place of awareness, wisdom and power. Revisit pivotal past events in your life and seek the learning in each experience. All the answers are already within you.

Look at those events through your own eyes, then through the other party’s eyes and finally assume an overview, big-picture, ‘eagle’ perspective. Re-tell the same story without the charge of emotions and really dig deep to find the highest intention or purpose. Often, there exists commonalities of intention. Basically, we all tend to have the same needs, they simply manifest or are met in diverse ways. The healthier we satisfy our most unconscious needs and values, the less the chaos and strife around our relationships with others.

Every encounter with people and the world around us, represents an energy exchange process. You choose how that exchange of energy will occur. If you reflect upon them enough, you will discover that challenging personalities and difficult experiences/situations, raise important questions that prompt you to look inwards towards your truth. You alone know your TRUTH. You are a co-creator with God and you have the power, to create the destiny you desire. When you allow yourself to shift your mindset, you are able to discover a whole new world. Take ACTION and dare to see yourself and your world, in a beautiful, brand new light. Only then will you begin to tell empowering stories about yourself and others. Have a wonderful week!

“You can run to another town, another place, another state. Whatever it is you’re running from, it stays with you until you find how to confront it.” ~Anonymous~

Questions of the day: Are you so focused on your goals and ‘TO DO’ lists that you sometimes forget to celebrate your achievements and ‘ALREADY DONE’ list? Have you taken time today to celebrate YOU?  How others ‘see’ you is a reflection of the light you give out. Are you shinning your best light? Do you feel stuck? A single empowered action step can get you back in ‘flow’.

Sometimes, in order to get ‘unstuck’ or to get new ‘fuel’ to move forward, all we simply have to do is look at areas in the past where we both excelled or failed, those situations (both small and big), when we focused our resources and accomplished wonderful results. You can learn from from ‘failures’ as well as from your successes, and sometimes even more so from the former. If you really think about it, there are no failures in life only feedback.

Can you remember a time in the past when you felt loved, cherished, joyous, unstoppable, powerful and resourceful? Are you struggling to recall such a time? Do you know that you have the ability to go back in time, way before creation, and tap into a time when you were whole, complete, a special time when you were simply one with your creator?

The world and your present circumstance may seek to convince you of the fallacy that you are broken or fractured, however, they lied! You are a beam of light and love, created in the image of God for a unique purpose. You are, were and will always be whole and complete. “Our DIS-Ease in life is a DIS-connect from God, our true source.” ~Marianne Williamson~

WWN Reflection DAY 8: Take ACTION and Transform Your Life!

FearsDescribe and define yourself not in terms of your fears or challenges, rather, always speak of your life in terms of your possibilities, dreams and purpose. Speak of your goals as if they already happened. Speak of your vision as a reality.

Today, let’s take a moment to confront and resolve whatever ‘ghosts’ or issues trouble your spirit. Even if you can’t solve them today, just identify the key areas that need resolutions. Identifying, stating them out loud and writing them down, allows your unconscious mind to keep working on them even when you’re consciously not tackling them. The moment we get specific with our fears, they lose their power and hold over us.

Remember, the answers are  always within. Search inside and God’s spirit will guide and lead you to great things. Anytime you feel overwhelmed, just shift your focus to something else and choose to add value to someone else. We are reflections of one another and operate in the same life-field. A breakthrough for another, is invariably, a breakthrough for us. There are no coincidences in life. We get ‘stuck’ when we stubbornly decide to solve OUR problems NOW!Dreams inside

Stop the ego-tripping. Give up your attachment of being right rather become more focused on doing right; serving others, connecting meaningfully with the world around you, developing and building relationships, being healthier, happier, focus on your personal transformation, progress and growth.

As we take simple steps to grow and transform our lives, we automatically find solutions to seemingly serious challenges/problems in our own lives.

Today, make sure you take some time to rest, relax, rejuvenate, reflect and rejoice. Celebrate where you’ve been and be thankful for where you’re going. You are a beloved child of a loving creator, made to love and be loved, unconditionally. This is your truth, know it and live it.

“To know” is Intellectual and “To Live” is Experiential. To know your truth but not live it leads to Torture/Depression/Pain. To know your truth AND live it leads to a life of Freedom/Joy/Abundance. Here’s a toast to the gift of WISDOM: my wish for you is that you grow to know and live your truth with authenticity, integrity and power.

On a much lighter note, I believe God definitely has an awesome sense of humour. Do you know that four different activities release the same ‘feel-good’ hormones in our bodies: Prayer, Food, Exercise and Sex! My message for you this weekend is to DO all four with wisdom, in the right context, in the right dosage. For example, do not use food to quench a sexual hunger.  You cannot pray yourself into being fit, you actually have to get off the couch and exercise! 🙂 QUALITY counts, not quantity! Have an awesome and abundantly blessed week.

Questions of the Day: What if you simply DECIDED that this would be your best month ever? What if you consciously mentored, trained, coached and channeled EVERY thought, word, action you take this month with total focus towards WHO and WHAT you want in your life, your relationships, your business, your workplace and your community?

What if you identified and then with awareness, moved away from all your old patterns that put you in a place of negativity, pain, anger, chaos, sadness, helplessness and poverty? What if you tried something new? Like sharing all the love and passion and talents you have within you with those who matter in your life? What does the best version of YOU look like? What does the best version of your life look like? Begin to pursue these versions…

As we round off the first week of our 30-day challenge, we hope you’re experiencing wonderful blessings, new insights and a renewed sense of peace. May you dwell in an atmosphere of miracles, of faith and of awesome possibilities. Imagine that this month is a brand new slate and it is your chance to start afresh, with all you’ve learned in your life so far. Celebrate all your awareness and see them as opportunities to grow and transform.

WWN Reflection DAY 7: Take ACTION and Transform Your Life!

YOU have the power to co-create your destiny. I don’t say this lightly, again I repeat: YOU have the power to co-create your destiny! It is your God-given right and it is a free gift. You were born a leader but you must take responsibility for your life and ALWAYS strive to rise above the ‘crowd’ of ‘follow-follow’ mentality. The more original, authentic and aligned your thoughts, words and actions are, the more you will draw the right people and opportunities to you. People will buy whatever service or product you’re selling because it will come from an authentic place. You may fall many times, however, your strength lies in your ability to rise, dust it all off and continue on your path. Focus on the moment at hand and focus on the step you must take! “Take the next step and the path will reveal itself.” ~James MacNeil~

The world needs more ‘POSITIVE and AUTHENTIC Ambassadors.’ Are you ready to take your spot? This month, I challenge you to dwell on ALL that is good, unique, wonderful and unique about you. Focus on the fantastic things that have happened to you all your life thus far. Stop fighting for or justifying your limitations. You may get to be ‘right’, however, do you get to be joyous, healthy and prosperous? Focus on the learnings from challenging situations. Fuse these wonderful memories together and use them as an armour against all the negatives the world throws your way. The only reasons pain exists is to get your attention about what’s really important in your life and to give you the tools to empathize and empower others.

lonelinessWe are all connected. We are unique individuals and also part of a beautiful whole. We all face the SAME triumphs and challenges manifested in different forms. Until you can FEEL another’s pains, mistakes, challenges and betrayals and STILL ‘see’ them through eyes of love, you will continue to be held captive by your own walls.

You are so much stronger than your wildest imagination. Whatever the situation or circumstance you’re presently in, dig deep within you to find the strength within. The strength is within your soul, a living part of you that is way bigger than whatever challenge you face now or will ever face tomorrow. It transcends space and time. Your responsibility is to take the time to discover and know yourself better each day and also to sharpen your senses and ability to cope with whatever hand life deals you. The one thing that’s constant is that life comes with uncertainties, if not it wouldn’t be life.

Marcel proustYour relationships are keys to the quality of your existence and experience of the world. It starts with an intimate relationship with God, your creator and also an honest and deep relationship with yourself. Everything else flows from this. The foundation of our coping mechanism is determined to a large extent by the nature of our relationships with those in our closest circle.

Learn to set healthy boundaries and make peace with your parents, siblings, colleagues, spouses and children. We are social beings and are hard-wired to seek connection. Connect with others in a healthy way. Allow love to breathe in your relationships, avoid suffocating your primary relationships with guilt, shame, anger, hurt, pain and fault-finding. Change your lens and dare to ‘see’ yourself and your world in a beautiful, brand new light! YOU are responsible for how you exchange value with others around you. Are you a source of drain or empowerment? Are you cognizant of those who drain or uplift you?

I love this deeply layered quote below from Master Mentor, Coach and Trainer, Ernie Pavan:

“Relationships with Spouses (existing and/or ex) and Closest Family Members, Colleagues & Friends, are our biggest opportunities for transformation.

In the world of perception is projection, they become OR represent our deepest, innermost pains, fears, challenges, nightmares (or luckily, our goals and dreams), manifested alive.
So become more present. Pay ATTENTION to your life!

We come together, not by accident, but rather through a deliberate divine synchronism, to perhaps celebrate, share, heal, create, connect, build, unlock or become aware of something important in our lifetime.

Fix your pain and life will open up. If you’re willing to find and solve your pain, you will find your power, passion, purpose, profit and path. The reason your pain exists is to draw your attention to something important for your growth and to increase your ability to become a beacon of light for others around you.”
~ Ernie Pavan, Co-Founder, Human Potential International, HPI~

Give yourself permission to love yourself and make mistakes. This allows you to have room in your heart to love and be kind to others. Your quality of life is tied to your capacity for love. To love is always a choice! No one can break your spirit without your cooperation. The secret is to constantly seek the essence of the creator within you. You will achieve everything you set your heart on as long as you seek it from a place of  surrender, truth, humility and incredible focus.Smile

FORGIVENESS and ACCEPTANCE are twin-gifts we give to ourselves and those around us so that we can heal our seemingly fractured hearts and live full, whole lives. ‘Heaven on earth’ is the metaphor for a paradise we create through our personal approach and mindset, despite whatever ‘hell’ the harsh realities of life throw at us.

Your heaven is INSIDE of you. You CANNOT get it from things, titles, possessions or other people. It is an eternal spring that’s already there in you and your life’s purpose is to find it and share it with those around you, every day, in every single thing you do. You already have enough. You are enough. And should you need or want more, you have the unique ability and talent to create it. This is the heart of the master-frame of Co-creation.

Your purpose in life is not to ‘GET’, your purpose is simply to ‘GIVE’, ‘SHARE’ and ‘EXCHANGE VALUE’ with others. In the pursuit of your purpose, there will be pain, mistakes and storms, that’s simply life happening. It is in the oscillating patterns of highs and lows that your character is formed.

Pay particular attention to your ‘lows’, because if you allow it, these are the periods for extraordinary growth and transformation. Like a seed, we die first, in order to germinate, grow and bloom. Life is not meant to be perfect. Life is meant to be LIVED. The twin mystery and beauty of life is that it is IS and we are to simply BE. Life does not ‘happen’ to us, we are constantly co-creating and unveiling the life that unfolds. Yes, we are that powerful! We are, after all, children of a loving and powerful Creator.
